Well, a whole week has gone by and we have no update. We had really hoped to have a call with our birth family this week and to have an update but that did not happen. I am sure it's difficult moving, getting settled, trying to find a new Doctor etc...I am however now suddenly worried we are just going to get a call out of the blue saying she is in labor or the baby is here! The planner in me is stressing out but the laid back me is just taking it one day at a time.
We spoke to our legal assistant this week, she is incredibly helpful and really put us at ease. She seems to know everything which is huge, she was able to answer all my questions and make us feel comfortable. I know that she will be a really great resource while we are in Missouri and will help get us home as quickly as possible. She did mention to me that hospitals in MO aren't that adoption friendly, apparently they don't want to be liable for anything so they are a bit stand offish. Better to know that going in so we can be pleasantly surprised when they are really awesome!
So, I guess we just wait. I really hope we have a date this week. Not long now though...the days seem to be flying by! We popped to Babies R Us today and picked up some swaddles to travel with, I think we just about have everything we need to take with us. We have been keeping an eye on flights etc...I keep watching the prices go up and down! Nothing like last minute planning ;) Can you tell this is bothering me? Hahaha!!!!

remember your wedding time-- plan, stress, plan, stress...then wedding day: enjoyment and a blur?? Well, this will be like that!!!!!
Awwww a little last minute planning never hurt anyone! How exciting . . . livin on the edge! Enjoy every minute of the "trying to plan" stage because soon nothing will go as planned and you won't want it any other way!! Love you guys!
