One week from now we will be just about touching down in Kansas City! CRAZY! Today, David and I are going to the Museum of Fine Arts to go see and exhibit on Egypt. When we get home the seriousness begins, we will be starting to put everything together for out trip. Yesterday we had a BBQ with friends and they surprised us with our car seat and a massive box of diapers! We are so grateful that we won't need to buy the car seat before we leave. We will however put it in our car and pop by the police/fire station to make sure we have installed it correctly!
Thanks to everyone for all the great suggestions for items to take on our trip, I think we have just about everything you guys thought we should take. I do need to scale back on the outfits, my friend Nicole gave me a ton of newborn sleepers and formula (plus coupons!) last night which is awesome. We also have a bunch of newborn outfits that were our God daughters! We are all about hand me downs ;) Seriously, they grow out of everything so fast that sometimes things are hardly worn at all. I think we just have to pick up a couple of little bits and we will be all set. I have to remember to pack for me also! I tend to pack really well for my husband (and now future daughter) and forget about myself. Maybe I do it subconsciously so I can buy new things on trips/vacations? Ha! Can't do that this time we won't have time to shop!
Well, it's time to go enjoy our day. I wish everyone a safe, happy and blessed Memorial weekend.
