Chicago, San Fran and Dallas oh my!!!

We have decided to distract ourselves with travel and the holidays! We bit the bullet and booked our trip to San Francisco for the first week in December :) We now have the following trips planned; Chicago Nov 20-23, San Fran Dec 2-6 and Dallas Dec 24-31! We have a lot of family and friends to visit and what better time of year to just do it. SO, we have never EVER been to San Francisco or to California for that matter (except to fly through once) so if anyone has any suggestions of must sees while we are there please do let us know. We only have three full days there so unfortunately we can't take the trip to see the Redwoods or much to David's dismay down to Big Sur. However, we do have at the top of our list two places Man vs. Food went to. You know food is always a priority ;)

Last weekend we went to King Richards Faire, it is a huge Renaissance fair they hold down near Carver, MA every year. David and I have talked about going since we have been married so it was great to finally make it happen. I have to say it was a lot of fun, there is an entire village set up in the woods and all the workers (and some crazy folks) are dressed up, there are shows, shops and tons of food! The Tiger/Lion show was my favorite, those animals are so beautiful. They even had a Liger! It was huge, I'll post a picture below. Needless to say it was a lovely day, it was the last day of the fair so every one was in rare form and we had a lot of laughs.

We didn't really have anything to report so just figured we would give an "us" update, I hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween weekend! We have a comedy show tomorrow night and a Halloween party at our friends on Saturday, I can't say what our costume is b/c I don't want to ruin the surprise ;) I will post pictures though!
